Sakarya University Faculty of Education was established by the Council of Ministers No. 97/9535 resolution published on Official Journal No. 23039 on 4.6.1997 and still sustains its academic activity in Hendek Campus.
Faculty of Education which started its academic activity with 84 students in Science Education and Primary School Education in 1997-1998, recently provides service for 4689 students in 12 undergraduate programs, and 400 students in 2 PhD programs, 10 Postgraduate students in MA with thesis programs and 7 Postgraduate students in MA without thesis programs.
In our faculty we have 126 academic staff including 4 Professors, 16 Associate Professors, 38 Assistant Professors, 24 Lecturers, 2 Instructors and 42 Research Assistants. We have 8 Research Assistants working on their PhDs in different universities on behalf of our faculty. The number of our administrative staff is 15.
